Regional Councillor Elaine Moore -Wards 1 and 5, Region of Peel

Councillor Moore believes in supporting programs and policies that strike a balance between growth and residential interests. Community comes first and she considers that the best solutions to problems are ones driven from the bottom up and not the top down. Councillor Moore supports the need for Council to be accountable and govern themselves with the highest level of integrity and transparency. Her top priorities are taxes, crime and safety, and managing growth. Councillor Moore has served her residents for the past 22 years. First, as a Peel District Public School Board Trustee for 11 years, followed by City Councillor for Ward 1 for one term, and presently as a Regional Councillor for Wards 1 and 5 for the last 7 years.
